The DOR’s PMO sought Advisicon’s expertise to conduct an audit of their M365 Project Web Application (PWA) instance using Advisicon’s DAR (Discovery, Analysis & Recommendations) methodology, alongside custom training for their PWA administrators.

Business Situation

The Oregon DOR needed a thorough enterprise portfolio management audit utilizing the DAR methodology. The goal was to assess their current Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system, determine areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for enhancing their processes. Additionally, customized training for PWA administrators was requested to improve system management and operational efficiency.

Solutions Delivered

Advisicon performed a detailed DAR of the Oregon DOR’s PPM system. The audit involved reviewing the current use of the system, identifying inefficiencies, and outlining a roadmap for best practices and future upgrades. The results were compiled into a comprehensive report, which was reviewed with the client to ensure alignment with their objectives.

In addition, Advisicon delivered customized MS Project Administrator training for DOR staff. The training was tailored to their unique system needs and delivered over two days through Teams meetings.
