Solution Delivered
To address SLI’s needs, Advisicon developed a custom VBA solution integrated into the Project Server global file. This solution stores yearly rates centrally, ensuring the correct rates are applied to task lines based on the specific year of each task, both online and offline. The code detects the file’s connection status and applies the appropriate cost data, storing current values in offline variables as needed. This provides SLI with a seamless experience in cost modeling, regardless of server connection.
