SNC faced significant challenges managing contracts due to manual processes and the complexity of handling PDS files. They required an automated, user-friendly system to connect to their EDA server, process contract-related files, and optimize contract creation and management.

Solution Delivered

Advisicon developed and implemented a solution consisting of three integrated pipelines:

  • Pipe 1: EDA Server Connection Function to locate contracts and download associated PDS files.
  • Pipe 2: A web-based user interface for creating and submitting file clusters for contract creation and updates.
  • Pipe 3: A function to process file clusters and generate Push Award SOAP calls, automating new contract creation.
    Additionally, we developed the SharePoint PDS Viewer, a SharePoint extension using a style sheet to display PDS XML documents, enhancing accessibility and user experience.
